Named after the ultra-inspiring, succulently wild characters Kudra and Alobar in author Tom Robbins' novel Jitterbug Perfume, Ku-Al Productions was created in 2000 after Jennifer Juniper and Peter returned from an inspiring 10,000 mile road trip around North America. Their mandate is to create works that promote joy, a belief in oneself and the mysterious Universe, and having a grand old time!
In 2001 they produced Peter's full length stage play, 'GOING SOMEWHERE SLOW', and filmed a 12 minute 35mm short film based on a scene from that play, in which they are both featured. They have also co-produced Peter's first CD, which contains songs from both the film and the play, and Peter has now completed a first draft of the feature length screenplay, adapted from the stage play,. The short film began the festival circuit in 2002, with it's premiere at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, October 17 - 22, 2002 (see www.lashortsfest.com., program 32)
